Memphis, TN (August 4, 2025) – Blue Note Bourbon™, the award-winning whiskey brand celebrating Memphis’ iconic blues heritage, announces the return of its highly sought-after Honey Bourbon Cask. After selling out in days last year, this limited-release expression is back by popular demand, blending innovative aging techniques with the soulful spirit of Memphis.
A Fusion of Flavor and Craft

The Honey Bourbon Cask embodies the art of fusion. American oak barrels, previously used for aging, were repurposed to produce barrel-aged honey before the whiskey—aged a minimum of three years—was returned to these honey-infused casks for additional maturation. Crafted with a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley, this 113.86-proof (56.93% ABV) unfiltered bourbon delivers a bold yet harmonious flavor profile.Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Vanilla, cedar, and nut
- Taste: Leather, pear, cedar, wildflower, and honey
- Finish: Gentle and warm with lingering wildflower and honey notes
“The team then returned the whiskey, which was aged for a minimum of three years, to the honey-infused casks for another round of aging to create a distinct and harmonious profile,” as noted in the production process.
