ST. LOUIS (Feb. 20, 2025) – Lux Row Distillers, based in Bardstown, Kentucky, is expanding its innovative bourbon lineup with Lux Row Small Batch Albariño Cask Finish. This expertly crafted bourbon blends 4-year-old wheated and ryed bourbons, finished for an additional six months in Albariño wine casks, a dry white wine known for its citrus notes, crisp acidity, and subtle salinity. Bottled at 105 proof (52.5% ABV), this unique release will be available exclusively at Lux Row Distillers in March with a suggested retail price of $59.99 per 750mL bottle.

A Unique Bourbon with a Wine-Inspired Finish

Albariño grapes, native to coastal Spain and Portugal, produce a bright, aromatic white wine. This distinctive wine cask finishing process enhances the bourbon with fruity citrus aromas of nectarine, lime, and grapefruit, while the palate showcases lemon zest, honeydew, and a mouth-watering acidity.

“We wanted to combine the fruity citrus flavors of Albariño wine with the corn-influenced sweet notes of our wheated and ryed bourbons,” said Lux Row Master Distiller John Rempe. “The outcome is a delicious combination of two opposing flavors that results in a truly unique expression.”
