BARDSTOWN, Ky. (March 5, 2026) – In the “Bourbon Capital of the World,” one release reigns supreme as the ultimate symbol of community over competition. The Bardstown Collection has officially announced its return for November 19, 2026, bringing a curated series of ultra-limited bourbons that can only be purchased at the source.
Moving to a new bi-annual release cycle, the 2026 Collection marks a shift toward a more intentional maturation process. This extended two-year timeline allows the region’s master distillers to be even more selective, ensuring each bottle represents a historic milestone in Kentucky craftsmanship.
A Growing Partnership of Distilling Icons
The 2026 release welcomes a significant new addition to the lineup: Barton 1792 Distillery. Their inclusion further solidifies the Collection’s mission to unite Bardstown’s legendary heritage with its modern innovators.
2026 Participating Distilleries:
- Bardstown Bourbon Company
- Barton 1792 Distillery (New for 2026)
- Heaven Hill Distillery
- Limestone Branch Distillery
- Log Still Distillery
- Lux Row Distillers
- Preservation Distillery + Farm
Ross Cornelissen, Master Distiller at Barton 1792 Distillery, shares:
“The Bardstown Collection shows what’s possible when our distilling community comes together with a shared purpose. We’re honored to officially join and contribute to something that not only showcases exceptional bourbon but also gives back to the people and the community that make Bardstown so special.”
Exclusivity with a Purpose
The Bardstown Collection is a “pilgrimage” release—bottles are sold exclusively on-site at the participating distilleries in Bardstown. This strategy ensures that fans experience the town’s unrivaled hospitality firsthand.
Beyond the rare liquid, the initiative is a philanthropic powerhouse. To date, the Collection has raised over $360,000 for Nelson County scholarships and community programs.
Stacey Phelps, President of Visit Bardstown, adds:
“The Bardstown Collection represents what makes our bourbon community special. It’s collaboration over competition and every bottle poured helps give back to the place we all call home.”
Save the Date: November 19, 2026
The Release Party on November 19 will serve as the grand unveiling of the 2026 expressions. With the mid-November date, these bottles are perfectly timed to be the crown jewel of any holiday collection.
Detailed bottle specs, mash bills, and ticket information for the Release Party will be announced in the coming months at bardstowncollection.com and visitbardstown.com.
