Blue Note Honey Bourbon & Rye Cask Whiskey Allocation Grows

MEMPHIS, TN (September 21, 2026) – Blue Note Bourbon has significantly increased allocation for its third annual Honey Bourbon and Honey Rye Cask Whiskey, which sold out quickly the past two years. The brand is also releasing its first-ever single barrels of both expressions, available at select retailers.

Both whiskeys are finished in American oak barrels seasoned with wildflower barrel-aged honey for six to nine months. Once infused with honey character, the casks take back the bourbon and rye for a second maturation, layering the whiskeys with notes of golden honey, spice, toasted oak, and caramel sweetness.

The Whiskeys

Honey Bourbon: 70% corn, 21% wheat, 9% malted barley mash bill, finished at 117.8 proof (58.9% ABV), unfiltered.

Honey Rye: 95% rye, 5% malted barley mash bill, finished at 119.6 proof (59.8% ABV), unfiltered.

Where It’s Made

Blue Note’s whiskey is distilled in partnership with Lofted Spirits (parent company of Green River Distilling Company) and aged just north of downtown Memphis, where the Mississippi and Wolf Rivers meet. Memphis’s long, hot summers and cooler evenings push the whiskey deep into the oak for a rich, bold, yet smooth flavor.
