New bourbon liqueur infused with cacao, cinnamon, vanilla, and two varieties of dried chiles arrives for the holidays

Chattanooga, TN (November 2025) – Chattanooga Whiskey has announced the latest addition to its award-winning Experimental Single Batch Series: Batch 046: Spiced Cacao Infused, a bold, flavor-packed sequel to the fan-favorite Batch 028: Cacao Infused released in 2022. This year’s limited edition expression draws inspiration from the ancient Aztec beverage Xocolatl, layering cacao, spice, and heat into a uniquely modern bourbon liqueur.

Like its predecessor, Batch 046 is infused with whole Ecuadorian cacao nibs, cinnamon sticks, and vanilla beans, but this release intensifies the experience with the addition of Guajillo and Pasilla chiles for a multidimensional, warm-spice character.

Crafted from a blend of three high rye malt and wheat malt bourbon mash bills distilled on both pot and column stills, Batch 046 marries the natural sweetness and spice of the whiskey with the intensity of the cacao-chile infusion. More than 200 pounds of infusion ingredients were added and removed with precision to maintain balance.

Batch 046: Spiced Cacao Infused will be available Thursday, November 20th, for $54.99 per 750ml bottle at the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery and online for shipping to select states via Seelbachs.com.

Bottled at 85 proof (42.5% ABV), this “pre-built cocktail” arrives just in time for holiday gatherings. Expect layered notes of dark chocolate, prune, toasted chile pepper, chocolate-covered raisin, and creamy horchata—perfect for fireside sipping, festive brunches, or dessert over ice.
