LOUISVILLE, KY – Chicken Cock Whiskey is officially turning up the heat in Louisville’s vibrant Nulu district. Director of Brand Experience, Emily Zaborowski, has announced a strategic expansion of the “Famous Old Brand,” bridging the gap between their historic Bardstown roots and a sophisticated new satellite tasting room and speakeasy in the heart of Nulu.
The expansion centers on an innovative cocktail program led by head bartender Kelly Nelson, who has reimagined Bardstown classics for the Louisville palate. “Kelly took five of our Bardstown classics and reworked them for the Nulu audience, crafting a new bespoke menu,” says Zaborowski. Featured drinks include the “Coxcomb,” a tropical-inspired coconut bourbon infusion with hibiscus and mango.
The brand’s presence culminates this weekend at Nulu Bockfest, where Chicken Cock will debut its new hospitality space, “The Coupe”. Fans can cheer on the brand’s official contender, “Whiskey the Kid,” in the iconic Goat Races and participate in a rooster-calling contest hosted by Brand Director of Engagement, Will Woodington.
“Our locations are designed for intimacy and interaction,” Zaborowski noted. “The goal is for visitors to leave not just with a new favorite cocktail, but with a sense of belonging and shared experience.”
