“The new album Broken Branches is all about the cracks and scars that make us who we are, and I wanted this bourbon to carry that same spirit,” says Dierks. “We added seasoned Oak staves to deepen the flavor and give it a little more character… kind of like the stuff life throws at you.”
Crafted with Care at Green River
Distilled at Green River Distilling Co., founded in 1885 as Kentucky’s 10th oldest licensed distillery, ROW 94 Broken Branches boasts a bold mash bill of 70% Kentucky-grown corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted and row barley. Aged in new white oak barrels with a level 4 char, it delivers:
- Nose: Vanilla, caramel, stone fruit, brown sugar, and butterscotch.
- Palate: Rich sweetness with leathery and nutty notes.
- Finish: Powerful cinnamon, smoke, and subtle spice.
“For this limited edition offering, we used fire-toasted Oak staves that had been seasoned for 24 months for the ’Branch Aging,’ lending additional nuance to the whiskey,” says Travis Cantrell, Director of Quality, Lofted Custom Spirits. “We produced just 1500 bottles, making this a truly rare craft whiskey that new bourbon lovers and enthusiasts alike will enjoy.”
ROW 94 Hits the Road
The release follows the success of the flagship ROW 94 ($39.99/750ml), launched in September 2024, which earned gold medals at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (94 points) and the Denver International Spirits Competition (92 points). Next up is ROW 94 Full Proof in July 2025, barreled at 120 proof and aged four years for a bold flavor profile.
Fans can experience ROW 94 on Bentley’s Broken Branches Tour, which kicked off May 29, 2025, in Austin, TX. At each stop, the “Truth Booth” photo booth offers an interactive experience with a message from Dierks, encouraging fans to share photos and play “Two Truths and a Rye” on social media.
