BARDSTOWN, Ky. [March 24, 2026] — Evan Williams, the #1 American-Owned Bourbon, has announced the debut of five highly limited Evan Williams Single Barrel Bourbon Nation Collegiate Edition bottles. This special release celebrates the traditions of five major universities: The University of Alabama, University of Florida, Syracuse University, TCU, and the University of South Carolina.
Each bottle in this series is hand-selected from an individual barrel, offering a unique profile that reflects the craftsmanship Evan Williams has maintained since 1783.
Designed for Fans and Alumni
Shipping to key markets by early April, these editions arrive just in time for March Madness and the spring graduation season. Each bottle features:
- University Branding: The school’s official logo displayed prominently on the bottle and a custom hang tag.
- Wax-Dipped Tops: A distinctive wax seal in the university’s signature colors.
- Exclusive Availability: Distributed only within each school’s respective home state.
The “Bourbon Nation” Platform
The series is part of the broader Evan Williams Bourbon Nation initiative, a platform dedicated to the community of college sports. Through a partnership with Learfield, the brand has become “Game Day’s #1 Pour,” activating at tailgates and watch parties across the country.
“As a bourbon brand rooted in tradition, we love being part of the moments that bring people together,” said Max Stefka, Associate Vice President of Global Whiskey Brands, Heaven Hill. “These Bourbon Nation Collegiate Editions give fans and alumni a meaningful way to celebrate their schools, whether they’re cheering during tournament season, marking graduation, or simply sharing a glass with fellow fans.”
Release Details & Future Waves
The single barrel expressions are bottled at 43.3% ABV (86.6 proof) and carry a Suggested Retail Price (SRP) of $34.99.
Fans of other programs won’t have to wait long; Evan Williams has confirmed a second wave of Collegiate Edition releases is planned for the fall football season, with an expanded lineup of universities to be announced later this year.
