FOUR ROSES DEBUTS ANTHOLOGY SERIES WITH OLDEST RELEASE IN BRAND HISTORY: CHAPTER ONE: ORIGIN

LAWRENCEBURG, KY – Four Roses Distillery has officially announced the launch of Anthology, a highly anticipated ultra-premium annual series of rare, limited-edition expressions. Each release in the collection will tell a distinct chapter of the distillery’s 138-year legacy.

Inaugurating this landmark series is Chapter One: Origin, a rare 21-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey—marking the oldest bottle ever commercially released in Four Roses’ historic timeline. Matured for over two decades, this masterfully aged 124.9-proof barrel-strength bourbon utilizes the distillery’s famed OBSF recipe, celebrated for its unique delicate herbal notes and rich fruit profile.

Inspired by the romantic 1888 founding legend of Paul Jones Jr. and his Southern belle, Chapter One: Origin celebrates the values of passion and connection that built the brand.

“This release represents more than age; it represents legacy,” said Brent Elliott, Master Distiller at Four Roses. “With Anthology, we wanted to create a series that allows us to tell the deeper stories behind Four Roses through rare and intentional releases. Chapter One: Origin pays tribute to the moment that inspired our name and the values of connection and passion that continue to define our brand today.”

Immersive Release Events & Scarcity

To honor the release, Four Roses is pulling back the curtain on its history through immersive customer experiences. Visitors will have the exclusive chance to step deeper into the brand’s history while exploring the inspiration and artistry behind this historic bottle.

  • July 10, 2026: Available exclusively at the Four Roses Visitor Center in Lawrenceburg, KY.
  • July 11, 2026: Featured at a special pop-up experience on Louisville’s historic Whiskey Row (118 E. Main Street), returning to the site of the brand’s original headquarters from 1884 to 1922.

Given the extreme maturation timeline, allocation is incredibly restricted. Only around 1,200 bottles will be released globally, underscoring the intense rarity and collectability of the inaugural chapter. It carries a suggested retail price (MSRP) of $500.
