Frey Ranch 10-Year-Old Bourbon: Historic Craft Whiskey Release

FALLON, NV (June 2, 2026) — Today, farm-to-glass pioneer Frey Ranch® Distillery unveiled its oldest age statement whiskey to date: Frey Ranch 10-Year-Old Bourbon, Batch #1. Already a Double Platinum Medal winner at the 2026 ASCOT Awards, this historic release marks the oldest whiskey ever distilled and aged in the Northern Nevada High Desert.

The highly anticipated, non-chill filtered, 102-proof powerhouse will debut exclusively via an online lottery at the Frey Ranch online shop and at the Frey Ranch Tasting Room, with subsequent batches hitting select nationwide retail markets later this year.

High Desert Climate Drives Exceptional Maturation

Distilled between January 2015 and April 2016, the whiskey was laid down in #4 char barrels with #3 char barrel heads. It features the distillery’s signature Four Grain mashbill: 66.6% non-GMO corn, 11.4% Canadian winter rye, 10% soft winter wheat, and 12% two-row malted barley.

Fallon’s extreme climate—swinging from freezing winters to 100°F+ summers—drives repeated barrel expansion and contraction. This accelerates the maturation process while imparting a taste profile as memorable as the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.

Tasting Notes & Terroir

On the nose, this true connoisseur’s sipping bourbon offers powerful aromas of caramelized sugar, milk chocolate, and chocolate orange candy. The palate delivers a sweet sensation of milk chocolate, cereal, and baking spices, leading to a long finish accented by honey, biscotti, and lingering oak notes.

Online Lottery: Opens Monday, June 15th at 10 a.m. PST and runs through Monday, June 22nd at midnight.
