BARDSTOWN, Ky. (May 19, 2026) — Heaven Hill Distillery, America’s largest family-owned and led independent distiller, has officially announced its 2026 Heaven Hill Grain to Glass® lineup. Dubbed the official “Year of Wheat,” this third annual collection pivots exclusively to limited-edition wheated mashbills, highlighting seed-to-sip transparency and the structural development of wheat during long-term maturation.

Developed by Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll, the 2026 line features hand-selected corn seed varietals chosen in collaboration with Beck’s Hybrids and grown locally by Peterson Farms in Nelson County, Kentucky. The three high-rye alternatives swap out spice for a dense, 35% soft wheat mashbill (52% corn, 35% wheat, 13% malted barley).

The 2026 “Year of Wheat” Expressions:

  • Grain to Glass® Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon (3rd Edition): Distilled in 2019 and aged 6 years in #3 char barrels. Drawn from Warehouses W5 and W6, it utilizes the Beck’s 6269 corn varietal. Bottled non-chill filtered at a barrel proof of 107.8. SRP: $99.99 (700ml) | Shipping: May 2026.
  • Grain to Glass® Specialty Barrel Wheated Bourbon (French Oak): Rather than a secondary finish, this expression is matured entirely for its full 6-year lifespan in #3 char French Oak barrels inside Warehouse W9. Utilizing the Beck’s 6269 corn varietal, it boasts a refined spice and dried fruit profile. Bottled at 109.2 proof. SRP: $129.99 (700ml) | Shipping: September 2026.
  • Grain to Glass® Extra Aged 9-Year-Old Wheated Bourbon: A hyper-limited, ultra-mature one-time extension distilled in 2017 using the Beck’s 6158 corn varietal. Aged 9 years in Warehouse W3, it represents a highly concentrated expression of the wheated mashbill. Bottled non-chill filtered at barrel proof (Final Proof TBA). SRP: $149.99 (700ml) | Shipping: November 2026.

Family Farms First™ Campaign

The line continues its integrated philanthropic partnership with Farm Rescue, a non-profit assisting family farms overcoming crises, natural disasters, or severe injuries. Heaven Hill has committed up to $300,000 through 2028, pulling a portion of every Grain to Glass sale (up to $100,000 annually) to fund emergency farm operations.

💬 Executive Quotes

“In 2026, Heaven Hill Grain to Glass takes a more focused approach by centering exclusively on unique wheated mashbill offerings,” said Molly Vincent, Associate Director of Luxury Whiskey at Heaven Hill. “We’ve worked with wheat for a long time across our whiskeys, but this allows us to explore it more intentionally, how it softens, how it builds complexity over time, and how it ultimately shapes the character in the glass. The ‘Year of Wheat’ is about bringing that deeper understanding forward.”
