Lynchburg, Tennessee (August 12, 2024) – The Jack Daniel Distillery proudly announces the release of the Jack Daniel’s Heroes Selection Single Barrel Barrel Proof Tennessee Rye Whiskey. This limited-edition series honors veterans and active military personnel, with the 2024 edition specially selected by U.S. Navy Veteran and Jack Daniel’s SVP General Manager, Melvin Keebler. The whiskey comes in an exclusive gift box with collectible medallions, making it a perfect tribute to those who serve.

This year’s Heroes Selection Barrel Proof Rye offers proof points between 125 and 140, delivering a complex aroma of rich caramel and subtle toasted fruit. Each barrel is unique, offering flavors of toasted oak and deep, complex barrel spices that provide remarkable depth and character. Crafted with a grain bill of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley, the whiskey undergoes charcoal mellowing before aging in new, handmade American white oak barrels.
