Lynchburg, Tennessee – August 21, 2025 – The Jack Daniel Distillery has officially announced that Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Heritage Barrel Tennessee Whiskey will now be available year-round as a permanent addition to the Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel Collection.

From Limited Release to Permanent Favorite

Originally released as a limited edition in 2018 and 2019, the Heritage Barrel expression quickly gained acclaim for its distinct barrel toasting technique and rich, complex flavor profile.

“The way our barrels are built and our ability to experiment are two of the most important parts of the Jack Daniel’s whiskey-making tradition,” said Chris Fletcher, Master Distiller at the Jack Daniel Distillery. “It was exciting for us to see what our Heritage Barrels produced with previous limited releases, and we’re thrilled to bring that same unforgettable flavor to more friends with this permanent offering.”

Crafted with Tradition and Innovation

The whiskey is made using Jack Daniel’s classic Tennessee Whiskey mash bill:

  • 80% corn
  • 12% malted barley
  • 8% rye

It is mellowed through 10 feet of sugar maple charcoal and aged in high-toast, low-char barrels, inspired by early barrel-making traditions. These barrels are placed in high-elevation barrelhouses in Lynchburg, Tennessee, and the whiskey is bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) after maturing for at least seven years.

Tasting Notes

  • Nose: Soft oak
  • Palate: Warm honey and candied fruit
  • Finish: Lingering brown sugar
