The Co-Founder of Louisville’s Angel’s Envy Distillery is the new owner of a beautiful castle in the middle of horse country, Kentucky. The Kentucky Castle, located in Versailles, Kentucky, has sold for $19 Million according to LEX18. TKC Hospitality LLC, Wes Henderson’s group, purchased the property. Henderson is the co-founder of Angel’s Envy Bourbon and a 2019 inductee to the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame.

Like everyone else in the world, the Partners at TKC Hospitality have always loved the Kentucky Castle (TKC). As Kentucky natives, TKC has always been a part of our lives as an iconic local landmark, and we are thrilled to be part of the next chapter, building upon the world class experience created by our predecessors.

Looking to the future, we will be collaborating with our neighbors in Pisgah, local businesses, schools, and the entire community, to maintain and grow the deep roots and legacy of this historic destination. The existing TKC team will continue in their roles to provide the same high standards of excellence to each guest and visitor.

Statement of TKC Hospitality

One of the most recognizable sites in the rolling hills of the Bluegrass, TKC sits within the sprawling horse farms of Central Kentucky. The 50 year-old castle sits on a hill with sweeping views of Kentucky farmland. The Castle is a unique property that draws many to experience its architectural beauty, mystery, and landscape. Located on more than 100+ acres, the Kentucky Castle has 18 different guest accommodations, including a Farm View Cabin and 4 Tower Suites. The unique hotel also has a large event space and has played host to Murder Mystery Dinners, paint your own bourbon barrel art classes, yoga on the castle roof, tea with Cinderella, immaculate dinners, and unique bourbon tastings.

We cannot wait to see what is in store for TKC in this next chapter of its storied life.
