LOUISVILLE, KY (March 17, 2026) – Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. is proud to announce the release of its first-ever 10-year-old whiskey. The Henry Kraver’s Old Reserve Bourbon will officially debut at the Peerless Distillery, located at 120 N 10th Street, Louisville, on April 22, 2026.

This milestone release marks a decade of aging since the Taylor family revived the Peerless brand. To maintain exclusivity, the distillery has implemented a strict one-bottle purchase limit per person. Moving forward, Kraver’s Old Reserve will be an annual tradition, released every April 22 to coincide with the birthday of the distillery’s founder, Henry Kraver.

“This is to honor my great-grandfather. And to honor all of our employees who have done an incredible job making the whiskey and finishing the product for distribution. We have a GREAT team at Peerless,” said Roy M. “Corky” Taylor III.

Operating under the original DSP-KY-50 license from 1889, Peerless continues its “grain-to-bottle” mission without outsourcing. Batch 1 of this 10-year-old expression is bottled at a robust barrel proof of 117.6 (58.8% ABV).

Tasting Profile: The nose offers deeply layered notes of smoldering pipe tobacco, candied peanuts, and French vanilla ice cream. The palate is rich and expressive, featuring caramelized “burnt brownie edges,” mocha coffee, and bright candied orange peel. The finish is rustic and mature, defined by tobacco barn aromas and charred applewood.

“I’m grateful for Peerless’s continuous approach to elevating industry standards,” said Nick Klee, Distiller and Batcher. “10-year-old barrels carry very prominent notes that require careful pairing when batching. We couldn’t be happier with the result. Kraver’s 10-year-old Reserve is a wonderful representation of a decade’s worth of hard work and patience!”
