Honey Bourbon Cask From Blue Note Bourbon – Full Press Release
MEMPHIS, TN – October 23, 2024 – Blue Note™ Bourbon is known for blending the rich heritage of Memphis blues. It pairs this tradition with exceptional whiskey. The brand has unveiled its latest innovation: Honey Bourbon Cask. This limited-edition bourbon blends the art of fusion and craftsmanship, offering whiskey enthusiasts a truly unique experience.
This expression is crafted from a mash bill of 70% corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted barley. It starts with bourbon aged for a minimum of three years. Then it finishes in honey-infused barrels. These barrels were previously used for aging honey. They return the whiskey to create a complex and harmonious profile. The final product is bottled at a robust 115.7 proof.
Tasting Notes Honey Bourbon Cask:
- Nose: Vanilla, cedar, and nut
- Palate: Leather, pear, cedar, wildflower, and honey
- Finish: Warm, with lingering wildflower and honey notes
Available online and in select states including TN, FL, and GA, this limited-release Honey Bourbon Cask is priced at $64.99 for a 750ml bottle.
