New Riff Wins 10 Medals at Prestigious SFWSC

New Riff sent off some of their best whiskey of 2023 to the San Francisco World Spirits Competition to see how they would stack up. Well, New Riff’s SFWSC entries preformed well as they brought home 10 medals highlighted by the great 6 year old Malted Rye Whiskey. Find out how your favorite New Riff did at SFWSC.

Newport, KY (May 1, 2024) – – – New Riff Distilling continues to welcome a year of growth and achievement as the distillery announced it was awarded 10 medals at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. In the 2024 awards announced Tuesday, April 30, New Riff earned one Double Gold, six Gold and three Silver medals. 

“Receiving these medals and recognition at San Francisco World Spirits Competition is not only an honor, but also a reflection of the distillery’s progress and skill,” said co-founder and vice president Jay Erisman. “Every year, we look forward to our achievements at the SFWSC and we could not be prouder of these results at the finest spirits competition in the world.”  

New Riff Distilling’s 6-Year-Old Malted Rye Whiskey received a Double Gold award — the highest ranking.  

Spirits receiving gold medals include New Riff Kentucky Sour Mash Single Malt Whiskey; New Riff Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey; New Riff Single Barrel Rye Whiskey; New Riff Balboa Rye Whiskey; New Riff Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey; and New Riff 8-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey.  

Spirits receiving silver medals include New Riff Single Barrel Bourbon; New Riff Nocino Liqueur; and New Riff Winter Whiskey.
