BARDSTOWN, Ky. (May 21, 2026) – Heaven Hill Distillery has officially announced the launch of the Rittenhouse United States 250th Anniversary Commemorative Edition. Dropping in May 2026, this ultra-limited, double-digit age-stated expression celebrates America’s Semiquincentennial ($1776\text{–}2026$) while paying direct homage to the brand’s historic Pennsylvania Monongahela rye heritage.

Adhering to the strict consumer protections of the historic Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, this special edition has been aged for 10 years and is bottled at a mandatory 100 proof ($50\%$ ABV). Master blenders pulled the non-chill-filtered liquid from a tight allocation of just 90 carefully selected barrels matured across multiple warehouse floors. The whiskey features Rittenhouse’s classic, spice-forward mashbill of $51\%$ rye, $35\%$ corn, and $14\%$ malted barley.

Bespoke Patriotic Packaging

The commemorative bottle comes adorned with rich patriotic design elements, including stars and a red, white, and blue color palette. It prominently displays the historic timeline of “1776–2026” alongside an illustration of the Liberty Bell, anchoring the liquid to its Philadelphia roots and Rittenhouse Square origins.
