LOUISVILLE, KY – October 24, 2024 – Sazerac Company is supporting recovery efforts for Hurricanes Milton and Helene. They have teamed up with BlockBar to host an online auction. The auction features some of the most rare and sought-after spirits in the whiskey world. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross to aid those impacted by the catastrophic storms in the Southeastern U.S. this year.
The auction will be no reserve. Bidders can start as low as $100. It includes an impressive selection of Sazerac’s prized spirits and complete bourbon collections. The auction will feature spirits from Buffalo Trace Distillery, Barton 1792, The Last Drop Distillers, and A. Smith Bowman, among others.
Highlighted spirits include:
- Double Eagle Very Rare Kentucky Straight Bourbon
- The Last Drop Release 28: Drew Mayville Signature Blend of Kentucky Straight Whiskeys
- Complete bourbon sets from fan-favorite brands like Weller, E.H. Taylor, and 1792.
The auction is live from October 24th through November 1st, 2024, and will be available at blockbar.com. The funds raised will directly benefit the Red Cross’s relief efforts. These efforts aid communities affected by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. The hurricanes caused widespread damage, flooding, and loss of life.
