LOUISVILLE, KY (March 16, 2026) – Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana (RMHCK) has announced the return of its world-renowned bourbon raffle, featuring a complete 6-bottle Pappy Van Winkle flight. Each bottle in the collection has been personally signed by Julian Van Winkle III, President of Old Rip Van Winkle Distillery.
The raffle, which has raised over $2 million for families seeking pediatric medical care since 2019, officially kicks off at 9:00 AM on March 17, 2026. To commemorate the year the charity opened its doors, only 1,984 tickets will be sold at $100 each.
This year’s flight is a true “complete vertical,” featuring the elusive 13-Year Rye alongside the 10, 12, 15, 20, and 23-year expressions. Adding to the prestige, Julian Van Winkle III will personally call the winner to offer his congratulations.
“Having a complete collection by including the rye makes it truly a complete vertical,” said Marc Abrams, a Louisville-based bourbon expert who authenticated the bottles. “And the unbelievable value in having Julian Van Winkle signing each bottle sets this apart from other raffles.”
Proceeds from the raffle provide free lodging and support for families traveling to Louisville for their children’s medical treatment. In 2025 alone, RMHCK provided nearly 16,000 nights of care.
“These six coveted bottles offered as a group go directly to support sick children and their families,” said Hal Hedley, CEO of RMHCK. “We are grateful to the many bourbon enthusiasts around the country who look forward to this event and support our organization.”
The drawing will take place at 11:00 AM EDT on April 23, 2026. Tickets can be purchased at PappyRaffle.org or go.rmhlou.org/f374e176.
