Crafted by Master Distiller Germán González, Tears of Llorona is a masterclass in patience. While industrial spirits prioritize speed, this 100% Highland Agave spirit is aged for five years in a rare trio of barrels: Scotch, Sherry, and Brandy. The result is a complex, high-proof (43% ABV) masterpiece that drinks with the soul of a fine bourbon.
“Tequila, much like whiskey or bourbon, has become increasingly diverse,” says the Bourbon Lens team. “Tears of Llorona stands out because of its meticulous process, small batch production, and the deep cultural story embedded in every bottle.”
