Jake’s Tasting Notes: William Laure Weller 2021

Nose: Rich creamy notes of fig and plum followed by sweet vanilla

Palate: Full of flavor and coats the entire palate. Dark cherry, oak tanning, vanilla and burnt sugars. As I progress through this sip there was slight hint of citrus as well.

Finish: Lingers on the palate with a deep hug into the chest. There is a cooked cherry note that stays with you.

Closing Thoughts

William Laure Weller didn’t disappoint. I understand why this is one of the hardest pours to come by! If you get lucky enough to grab a bottle, or have a friend like Bob share a pour, consider yourself lucky!
