Closing Thoughts
This was one of my favorite whiskies of 2023. It is an expertly finished whiskey that does a great job of highlighting the base bourbons and accenting its flavors and depth with yet another layer of flavor. Sherry Cask Finished Bourbon is the whiskey I often reach for as a night-cap. It’s a nice, end of day reward that packs full flavor yet is easy drinking, even at its slightly higher proof point.
