Introducing the latest Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon
Four Roses Distillery is set to release its highly anticipated 2025 Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon on September 3, 2025. This marks the 18th edition of the annual release, showcasing a masterful blend of three distinct bourbon recipes and four aged batches.
The Blend: Aged to Perfection
This year’s release is bottled at barrel strength (109 proof) and is non-chill filtered, offering a rich and authentic tasting experience. The blend includes:
- 13-year-old OBSV
- 13-year-old OBSK
- 13-year-old OESV
- 19-year-old OESV
Master Distiller Brent Elliott shared,
“Year after year, we look to create a unique expression that highlights the best of what our ten recipes can offer… The OBSK brought in a complexity that I think people will really enjoy.”
Tasting Notes
The 2025 Limited Edition Small Batch delivers a sensory journey:
- Nose: Sweet apricot, vanilla, caramel, black tea leaves, hints of rye, mellow oak
- Palate: Apricot, citrus, crème brûlée, antique spiced oak
- Finish: Soft, long-lasting, and flavorful
Availability & Pricing
Approximately 16,854 bottles will be released at a suggested retail price of $249. Bottles will be available:
- At select retailers nationwide
- Through the Four Roses Distillery bottle drawing (entries accepted August 19–24, winners notified August 29)
Winners can pick up their bottles at the Distillery Visitor Center in Lawrenceburg, KY.

Visitors to the distillery can enjoy a pour of the 2025 Limited Edition Small Batch at Bar 1888 in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, while supplies last.
