Louisville, KY – November 4, 2024 – Renowned whiskey blender Dixon Dedman has launched the second vintage of Gem of Kentucky, the only double-barreled, single-barrel Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey on the market. This limited-edition release, available for $199.99, highlights Dedman’s innovative blending techniques and artistry, delivering a bourbon experience like no other.
A Unique Bourbon in Every Barrel
This year’s Gem of Kentucky features 80 hand-selected single barrels crafted from a 35% high rye bourbon mash bill. Each barrel spent up to a year in new charred oak barrels after its initial aging, resulting in a unique flavor profile.
Some barrels offer sweeter notes like chocolate, cinnamon, and toasted marshmallow, while others deliver savory flavors with hints of dark red fruits, nutmeg, and black pepper spice.

Collaborative Artistry with Travis Adams

Adams designed The Unmined Gem, a hand-blown glass sculpture inspired by the topography of central Kentucky, classic still designs, and the black and gold bottle of Gem of Kentucky.
Collectors will have the opportunity to purchase this exclusive sculpture through 2XO’s Instagram announcements in November.
