2XO Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and renowned whiskey blender Dixon Dedman have announced the launch of The Sneakerhead Blend, the latest addition to its Icon Series. This limited-time offering is priced at $99.99 and will be available nationwide. Dixon Dedman expresses that this blend pays homage to his passion for sneaker culture, reflecting individuality and personal style, which resonates with fellow sneaker enthusiasts.
The Sneakerhead Blend is crafted using 2XO’s innovative double-barreling process, which allows for enhanced oak exposure. It features two proprietary mash bills: a high rye 35% bourbon mash bill and a moderate rye 18% bourbon mash bill. The blend consists of 60% of the high rye bourbon, which undergoes double barreling in new charred oak barrels. This method enriches the whiskey’s sweetness and balances the spiciness of the rye, resulting in a rich mouthfeel with tasting notes of cinnamon, allspice, and cedar, culminating in a smooth, peppery finish.
