This review is rather timely as two big things are happening during or shortly after this review:
1st – the newest episode of the Bourbon Lens podcast that drops Monday is featuring Brendan Coyle the Master Distiller of High West.
2nd – the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau or better known as the TTB is holding opening comment on the definition of American Single Malt. While it’s not an imminent decision we should have clarity before the end of 2022.

Color: Golden
Nose: fresh vanilla and oak mixed with hints of cinnamon sugar and honey.
Palate: You are met with a rich oily mouth feel that coats the palate on the first sip. The flavors come in waves of vanilla, oak and finish with a slight candid nuttiness reminiscent of the holiday season. True more sips the more of the nuttiness shines but the waves of flavor in ever sip are truly unique
Finish: long lingering finish that sits on your palate for minutes at a time
