Unique Livery for this Weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix Highlights the Iconic “Old No. 7” Brand on both McLaren Formula 1 Cars
In what is likely one of the most anticipated race weekends of 2023 for American auto racing fans, Jack Daniel’s is set to take center stage on the Formula 1 grid with prominent branding on two McLaren race cars. In celebration of the first year of their partnership, the Jack Daniel Distillery and McLaren Racing today announced a special Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey livery for the upcoming Las Vegas Grand Prix.
The livery will include increased branding for Jack Daniel’s on both McLaren Formula 1 cars, against a background of repeating “Old No. 7” logos, inspired by the MCL60’s carbon fiber weave. Jack Daniel’s logo placement will be featured on the race suits worn by drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri and in the team’s garage during the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
In the run-up to the race weekend, Jack Daniel’s and McLaren Racing posted a video telling the story of the car’s journey from the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg Tennessee, to Las Vegas in preparation for the race. The piece, titled “Special Delivery” features a good bit of humor and the personalities of Formula 1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. The video is linked below to watch in full on McLaren’s YouTube Channel.
Earlier this year Jack Daniel’s announced a limited edition Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey bottle to commemorate its partnership with McLaren Racing. It will be available in select retail accounts around the Las Vegas area during Grand Prix weekend.
