Batch Proof 2024 Edition is bottled at 121.2 Proof and is available now at the Distillery and select retailers across the country.
Woodford Reserve’s Batch Proof is characterized as celebration of the distillery’s process of blending various barrels into a batch and then bottling the whiskey at its actual proof, straight from the barrel. Batch Proof is crafted using the same mashbill and process as Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Bourbon. However, rather than being bottled at 90.4 Proof, the 2024 edition is a hefty 121.2 Proof.
Distillery Tasting Notes:
- Aroma: Vanilla bean, brown sugar pecans, tropical citrus fruits with a dusting of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove
- Taste: Sweet toasted oak, cocoa, juicy pineapple, dried strawberry, and spiced berries.
- Finish: Dried strawberry, toasted oak, and raw honey
Full Details from Woodford Reserve Batch Proof:
Woodford Reserve has released its annual limited-edition, high-proof expression — Woodford Reserve Batch Proof. At 121.2 proof, this expression celebrates the commitment to craftsmanship of Master Distiller Elizabeth McCall.
Batch Proof showcases the flavor nuances created from batching 100+ different Woodford Reserve barrels together, then presenting that bourbon at the exact proof from the barrels. The barrels used to create Batch Proof are drawn from many different dates of production and matured in various warehouses and different floors within those warehouses.
The liquid showcases a range of sweet aromatics, fruit, spice, wood and grain characteristics at its purest form, not the standard 90.4 proof.
Barrels drawn from the upper floors of our heat-cycled warehouses tend to possess higher proof presentations including this limited-edition batch. Batch Proof allows consumers to taste Woodford Reserve exactly as it comes out of the barrels.

This limited-edition collection is available in select U.S. and global markets and has a suggested retail price of $149.99. It’s available in limited quantities at Woodford Reserve Distillery starting on February 7.
