Louisville, Ky. – May 13, 2024 – The Sazerac Company proudly announces its remarkable achievement of securing 67 prestigious awards across various spirits categories at the esteemed 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). Among these accolades are 22 Double Gold medals, notably including the third consecutive Double Gold for the renowned W.L. Weller 12 Year Old Bourbon, elevating it to a Platinum medal status. Additionally, the company received 12 Gold, 30 Silver, and two Bronze medals.

Distinguished Sazerac brands such as 1792, Eagle Rare, William Larue Weller, Paul Masson, George T. Stagg, A. Smith Bowman, and more, were honored with these coveted awards. Traveller Whiskey, a groundbreaking innovation from Buffalo Trace Distillery crafted in collaboration with Grammy-winning artist Chris Stapleton, received its inaugural recognition with a silver medal.

The SFWSC, held from April 5th to 7th, stands as the oldest and largest competition of its kind. Established in 2000, it is one of the premier events organized by The Tasting Alliance, a consortium of hundreds of discerning judges evaluating the finest wines, beers, and spirits globally.
