Nose: This starts with a punch of warm baking spices, making it great for the holiday season. It is followed by waves of flavor: brown sugar, black cherry, and plumb round out the nose for a
Palate: Bold pop of flavor with waves of peanut butter throughout the pour. It is highlighted by other more subtle notes of cherry, lemon zest, tobacco, apple, and cinnamon.
Finish: Long finish with a drying palate with linger notes of cherry.
Closing Thoughts
This pour is special to me. Why? My dad went and picked up my first bottle of this the day my son was born. I still have that bottle as well. While this pour doesn’t have the same emotional connection as the 2019 release, you should try it. If you get the chance and have the cash it would be a buy.
