Watch Hill Proper Announces 4th American Whiskey Festival

LOUISVILLE, KY (June 22, 2026) – Watch Hill Proper, home to the world’s most extensive American whiskey menu, has officially announced the return of the Fourth Annual American Whiskey Festival. The premier summer event will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the North Village Square in Norton Commons.

The outdoor festival is free and family-friendly to attend, with upgraded, ticketed tasting packages available for whiskey and wine enthusiasts looking to sample pours from more than 40 distilleries and wineries.

What’s New for 2026: Private Distiller Tastings & VIP Lounges

Presented by Thomas Law Offices, this year’s festival is expanding its footprint to offer more intimate, educational, and high-end options for attendees.

Ticketed Experience Options:

Whiskey & Wine Garden ($60): Sponsored by Duckhorn Vineyards, this pass grants guests (ages 21+) unlimited pours from over 40 American whiskey brands and premium wines.
All-Inclusive VIP Experience ($300): Includes full access to the Whiskey & Wine Garden, plus exclusive rare pours, specialty cocktails, gourmet chef-driven cuisine by Chef Michael Crouch, and access to the private air-conditioned lounge inside Watch Hill Proper.
NEW! Distiller-Led Private Tastings ($50): Brand new for 2026, the festival is introducing four separate private tasting sessions. Guests can sample rare expressions and hear firsthand from industry experts (tickets sold separately).
