Two British Icons Unite as Aston Martin and Glenfiddich announce an exclusive global partnership, uniting the luxury automotive brand and the world’s most awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky.
The collaboration was unveiled on August 14, 2025, during Monterey Car Week in California at The House of Aston Martin. This marks Glenfiddich’s official debut as Aston Martin’s global whisky partner, expanding upon the distillery’s existing relationship with the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team.
Craftsmanship and Innovation at the Core
The partnership is centered on shared values of innovation, craftsmanship, and timeless design. “Aston Martin and Glenfiddich are united by a deep respect for heritage and a commitment to craftsmanship,” said Stefano Saporetti, Director of Brand Diversification at Aston Martin. “This partnership allows us to bring our shared story to life through immersive, sensory, and emotional experiences that resonate with our customers.”

Limited-Edition 1976 Vintage Release
To commemorate the partnership, Glenfiddich is releasing a rare 1976 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, aged for 48 years and finished in a specially coopered European oak sherry cask hand-selected by Malt Master Brian Kinsman. The whisky represents a transformative era for both brands—the 1970s—when Glenfiddich introduced the stag’s head emblem and expanded its distillery, while Aston Martin advanced its design and performance innovations.
Tasting Notes and Production Details
The 1976 Vintage offers aromas of red berry sweetness, butter pastry, gentle spice, and sherbet, with a palate of dry oak tannin, stewed fruits, and toasted wood. The finish delivers lingering sweet oak spice. “This exceptional cask was not selected for its vintage year alone, but for the era it represents,” said Kinsman. “It embodies the spirit of innovation and craftsmanship that defines both Glenfiddich and Aston Martin.”
Ultra-Exclusive Availability Worldwide
Only 50 bottles of the Glenfiddich 1976 (48.8% ABV) will be released worldwide. They will be available exclusively through The Distillers Library and at The Glenfiddich Distillery.
Celebrating at Monterey Car Week
At The House of Aston Martin, guests can experience a curated Glenfiddich whisky tasting alongside the debut of Aston Martin’s Valhalla—the brand’s first plug-in hybrid supercar. Claudia Falcone, Global Brand Director at Glenfiddich, stated, “Valhalla embodies the same rarity, precision, and future-facing vision as the Glenfiddich 1976 Vintage. Together, they tell one story: two brands united by heritage and driven by innovation.”
