Full Details on Baker’s Bourbon Release:
Today, the James B. Beam Distilling Co. has announced the official re-release of the much beloved Baker’s 13 Year Old – a limited-edition bottling of special 13-year-old single barrel liquid, bottled at 107 proof. The extra-aged expression explores how time and location in the warehouse drive distinction from barrel to barrel. From still to rickhouse to bottle, a lot of elements have helped to create this liquid. Notably, the weather, length of aging, and rickhouse placement all shape the distinct notes and flavors of each barrel.
Named after Baker Beam, grandnephew of the legendary Jim Beam, Baker’s Bourbon honors the family’s long history of distilling, and honors what makes it different.
While the notes of every barrel of Baker’s offer a unique tasting journey, fans should expect a few defining characteristics:
- Nose: Fruit, vanilla and caramel
- Palate: Medium-bodied with flavors of oak, toasted nuts, with vanilla and fruity notes
- Finish: Robust, medium-long, and warmly rounded
Baker’s Bourbon 13 Year Old is now available in limited quantities nationwide with a suggested retail price of $149.99 for a 750 mL bottle.
