Barrell Craft Spirits is back at it with a new blend of aged whiskey that you won’t want to miss. If you are a fan of the brand, check out our sit-down with Tripp Stimson from earlier this year.
Introducing Barrell Decade: A Decade of Distillation
Barrell Craft Spirits® (BCS), the original independent blender of aged, cask strength whiskey, proudly announces the release of Barrell Decade. This new expression is a blend of Canadian whiskeys distilled annually from 1995 to 2005, aged up to 30 years, and finished in Spanish brandy and Hungarian oak casks.
Barrell Decade joins the brand’s Black Label Series, which debuted last fall and includes standout releases like the 20-year-old Toasted Single Barrel and the 33-year-old Whiskey Finished in French Oak and Oloroso Sherry casks.
A Showcase of Blending Expertise
“Black Label Series is a new concept which takes us back to Barrell Craft Spirits’ roots of creating unique whiskies in extremely limited quantities while showcasing cutting edge blending methods and techniques which set us apart,” said Joe Beatrice, Founder of BCS.
“Barrell Decade represents a full ‘Decade’ of distillation. This is whiskey blending at its finest which was well worth the wait.”
