They are launching the Barrell Foundation Double Barrel Bourbon. This new release builds on the success of the Barrell Foundation line. It is the company’s first non-cask-strength bourbon. The bourbon is designed for sipping neat or mixing into cocktails.
Barrell Foundation Double Barrel Bourbon delivers the depth and complexity whiskey lovers have come to expect from Barrell Craft Spirits but at a more approachable proof. Thanks to secondary maturation in new American oak casks, this expression boasts enhanced notes of dark chocolate, leather, dried fruit, and toasted marshmallows. The 23% rye in the mash bill adds richness to the blend, creating a versatile bourbon perfect for enjoying neat, over ice, or in your favorite cocktail.
