New Calvados Cask Finish is Paired with Distinctive Label Design.

Breckenridge Distillery has announced the fifth edition of its Collectors Art Series, a limited-edition whiskey release featuring custom artwork by renowned muralist and painter Miles Toland. The 2025 release is Breckenridge Calvados Cask Finish, bottled at 95 proof (47.5% ABV), and is available beginning July 1 exclusively at the Breckenridge Distillery and its Main Street Tasting Room for $125.

Art Meets Whiskey in This Annual Collaboration

Toland’s label artwork blends elements of the Colorado Rockies, mandalas, and the lark bunting (Colorado’s state bird) to depict a transcendent connection between nature and self. “Blending is everything in my paintings,” Toland said. “Just like whiskey, it’s about creating bridges—between shadow and light, between form and formlessness.”

Tasting Notes Highlight Calvados Influence

The Calvados Cask Finish delivers a layered profile that includes aromas of red apples, warm oak, and creamy vanilla, with cinnamon spice on the nose. On the palate, drinkers can expect caramel, baked apple, and sweet oak with peppery spice. The finish is described as long and comforting, with lingering cinnamon notes.

Support for Local Art Through Every Bottle Sold

As with previous Collectors Art Series releases, $5 from every bottle sold will benefit Keep RiNo Wild (KRW), a Denver-based nonprofit that supports affordable creative space, artist advocacy, and inclusive programming in the city’s RiNo district.

Celebrating the Fusion of Color, Culture, and Craft

“This collaboration is another chapter in our ongoing celebration of blending—color, spirit, and culture,” said Breckenridge Distillery founder Bryan Nolt. The Collectors Art Series has received multiple industry accolades in prior years, including 2023 Best Blended LTD Release and Gold and Double Gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
