Are you planning your next distillery trip/ whiskey trip? Well, Brush Creek Ranch and Distillery offers one heck of experience. Don’t forget to “think west” when you think about your whiskey travels.
What does Brush Creek have to offer?
At Wyoming’s Brush Creek Distillery, guests can enjoy the true spirit of the American West by skiing or boarding on the property’s private Green Mountain in the morning, and then hitting the Distillery for a unique tour and tasting experience.
Sitting on property at the award-winning Brush Creek Ranch, Brush Creek Distillery hand crafts innovative spirits using natural resources found across the 30,000 acres of Wyoming wilderness it calls home. The Distillery was established to foster sustainability and promote innovation with its partners at The Farm at Brush Creek. Favorite Distillery offerings include:
- Distillery Tour, Tasting, & Barrel Thieving: Take an in-depth tour of the distillery while learning about the distilling process and the historical background of Brush Creek spirits. Taste the full line-up of our award-winning bourbon, rye, vodka, and gin, including thieving whiskey straight from the barrel!
- Distiller for a Day: Advance your knowledge of spirits distillation with a behind-the-scenes tour of our operations, tasting new-make spirits directly off the still, walking through the barreling process, and thieving mature whiskey directly from the barrel. Each guest will blend and proof whiskey to craft their own finished spirit and end the experience with a full tasting of bourbon, rye, vodka, and gin.
- Wagyu & Whiskey (Feb. 29-March 3; April 11-14): Embark on a fully immersive and educational experience surrounding the ultimate pairing of Wagyu & Whiskey. Guests will learn about the history of 100% American Wagyu cattle and the art of raising, butchering, and preparing their magnificently marbled beef. The journey continues through the distilling process of Wagyu’s perfect pair – whiskey. Spirit innovators and professional distillers will show guests step-by-step how to distill, blend, ferment, barrel, thieve, and even bottle their own whiskey. Highlights of this retreat include dinner at Cheyenne Club, beef and bourbon paired lunches, and a Spirits 101 Class to achieve a Stave & Thieve Society Certification.
Barrel Select Tours and Elevated Blending Seminars are also available.
Nestled within Medicine Bow National Forest, Green Mountain, the Ranch’s private 600-acre ski mountain allows only 18 guests at a time, complete with gear rental, expert guides, and a gourmet lunch. The mountain features 1,200 vertical feet of ski trails only accessible by a heated snowcat.
