Smith Bowman Distillery is bringing back its highly sought-after Cask Strength Virginia Straight Bourbon Whiskey, an annual high-proof release that showcases the distillery’s commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and bold flavor. Now in its fourth edition, this uncut, non chill-filtered bourbon is aged for a minimum of ten years and bottled at an impressive 139.7 proof, delivering a rich, full-bodied experience for whiskey enthusiasts.
A. Smith Bowman Cask Strength Bourbon is carefully curated through year-long tastings to select only the finest barrels. Distiller David Bock meticulously handpicks each barrel to create a unique and unfiltered bourbon that embodies the purest form of the spirit.
“What our distillation team is trying to showcase with the Cask Strength series is an unvarnished truth of quality bourbon in its natural form,” said Bock. “There are no finishes with Cask Strength, meaning we must be meticulous when selecting barrels and blending the liquid.
