Limited-Edition Release Offers Seasonal Flavors Perfect for Fall Campfires

CHATTANOOGA, TN (October 14, 2025)Chattanooga Whiskey today announced the release of its latest Bottled in Bond Vintage: Fall 2021, featuring the debut of a new roasted and toasted three-grain mash bill, SB104. Distilled and barreled at Chattanooga Whiskey’s Riverfront Distillery from July to December 2021, this vintage highlights the distillery’s collaborative selection process and dedication to innovative small-batch blends.

“Every six months, our team looks through our wide library of recipes to decide which ones have what it takes to find their way into a blend. From mash bill, to yeast strain, to barrel toast, every component is considered in the blending process—until ‘the best blend wins’,” said Grant McCracken, Founding Distiller.

About SB104 (Barrel 104)

SB104, named after the 104th barrel ever filled at Chattanooga Whiskey’s Experimental Distillery, comprises 20% of the overall blend and introduces a three-grain mash bill featuring:

  • 74% Yellow Corn from Catesa Farms, Riddleton, TN
  • 15% Canadian Malted Rye (slow toasted)
  • 11% Belgian “Cara-Munich” Malted Barley (drum roasted)

“SB104 was a standout in our blending – adding bright spice, subtle fruit, and a baked-pastry quality that locked in with the others. Because it uses only two specialty malts, that flavor impact reads even louder. If I had to sum it up, it’s like taking the other three mash bills, brushing them with a fruit glaze, then baking them like a cake,” said Grant McCracken.

The Fall 2021 Blend

The final vintage blend consists of four mash bills:

  • 30% SB091 (aka “Barrel 91”)
  • 20% B005 (aka “Wheated”)
  • 30% SB055 (aka “Roasted”)
  • 20% SB104 (new)

This carefully crafted blend emphasizes fall-inspired flavors, including cinnamon sugar donut, cheesecake, fig jam, and toasted oak, making it a perfect companion for cooler months and seasonal gatherings.
