LOUISVILLE, KY (March 16, 2026) — Chicken Cock Whiskey, a pillar of American spirits since 1856, today announced the evolution of its Louisville presence with the launch of “The Coupe.” This reimagined speakeasy-style cocktail destination, located within Circa 1856 in the heart of the NuLu neighborhood, officially opens with a high-energy celebration beginning March 26, 2026.

The Coupe blends Chicken Cock’s Gilded Age “Famous Old Brand” heritage with a modern, immersive hospitality experience. The opening weekend coincides with the neighborhood’s beloved NuLu Bockfest, where Chicken Cock will sponsor the “GOAT Stakes” featuring their own contender, Whiskey the Kidd.

“The Coupe represents the next chapter of our Circa 1856 experience in Louisville,” says Emily Zaborowski, Director of Brand Experiences for Chicken Cock Whiskey. “We wanted to create a space that celebrates the spirit of classic speakeasy culture while giving guests a fresh way to experience Chicken Cock Whiskey through thoughtfully crafted cocktails, events, and community gatherings.”

Opening Weekend Highlights:

  • Thursday, March 26 (9 PM – 12 AM): A premier pop-up featuring Mover & Shaker owner Nick Hogan alongside Kelly Nelson and Tavaris Smith.
  • Friday, March 27 (8:30 PM – 12 AM): The official menu reveal featuring a curated cocktail lineup and a live set by DJ Meeche.
  • Saturday, March 28 (12 PM – 6 PM): NuLu Bockfest festivities including the Chicken Cock Whiskey GOAT Stakes and a rooster-calling contest.
