Colonel E. H. Taylor, Jr. purchased O.F.C. Distillery (now Buffalo Trace Distillery) in 1869, revolutionizing the bourbon industry with modern equipment and innovative techniques. His influence is still felt today, with Buffalo Trace continuing to produce exceptional whiskey using the finest ingredients and traditional methods. Taylor was instrumental in the passage of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, a landmark in ensuring the quality and authenticity of American whiskey.
