For the first time in its 200-year history, Fettercairn Single Malt Scotch Whisky will be available in the United States. Known for its tropical house style and innovative approach to whisky making, the Highland-based distillery is launching with a collection of five rare aged expressions, marking a milestone for the brand.

A Legacy of Innovation from the Scottish Highlands
Fettercairn is located in Aberdeenshire at the base of the Cairngorm Mountains, where pristine mountain water and fertile land shape its whisky’s distinct profile. The distillery is known for its copper cooling ring — a technique that rapidly cools the stills with mountain water, allowing only the lightest vapors to rise.
Stewart Walker, Distillery Manager, stated, “Our copper cooling ring is a prime example – a technique that transformed our whisky, creating a spirit that’s fresh, vibrant, and unmistakably Fettercairn.”
Prestige Collection Includes Expressions Aged Up to 50 Years
The U.S. debut includes a highly allocated release of five aged expressions: Fettercairn 24-Year-Old (SRP $650), 28-Year-Old (SRP $1,250), 40-Year-Old (SRP $6,000), 46-Year-Old (SRP $19,000), and 50-Year-Old (SRP $37,000). Each expression is bottled with natural color and non-chill filtration. Allocations are limited, with only 500 bottles available each of the 24- and 28-Year-Old, and just 35 bottles of the 50-Year-Old available in the U.S.
Availability in Key U.S. Markets
Fettercairn’s debut will initially roll out in select luxury retail and high-end dining establishments across key states including California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Texas. The launch is part of a larger, multi-year plan to bring more of Fettercairn’s esteemed portfolio to American consumers.
