BARDSTOWN, Ky. (September 5, 2024) — The Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience proudly announces the grand opening of Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen. It is a new dining option that brings Southern heritage and local flavors to Bardstown, Kentucky. Starting today, guests visiting the Heaven Hill Bourbon Experience can enjoy lunch and dinner. They can dine in the upstairs area of the Five Brothers Bar. The restaurant is a tribute to the five Shapiro brothers who founded Heaven Hill in 1935. It also reflects the brand’s deep roots in Kentucky tradition.
A Tribute to the Shapira Brothers’ Legacy
Named in honor of Heaven Hill’s founders, Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit of the Shapira brothers, who launched Heaven Hill during the Great Depression. From these humble beginnings, the brand has grown into one of the largest family-owned spirits producers in the U.S. Today, visitors can experience this heritage through delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.
Southern Flavors & Comfort Food Found at Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen

- Max’s Garden Sandwich: A tribute to Max Shapira, Heaven Hill’s current Executive Chairman, with a fresh, garden-inspired twist.
Other menu items like fried Pimento Cheese balls, burgers, salads, and sides round out the offerings, ensuring something for everyone.

Following a successful soft opening, Five Brothers Bar & Kitchen is now fully open to the public. Operating hours are Monday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On Sunday, they are open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This makes it an ideal stop for visitors traveling the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
