Pledge to Hang.” The lighthearted initiative aims to combat what the trio calls America’s “friendship recession,” encouraging people to get together more often in real life.

The campaign launched with a series of tongue-in-cheek public service announcements featuring McElhenney, Day, and Howerton. The PSAs humorously urge Americans to “text a friend, make the plan, show up” — a simple call to reconnect with one another over shared experiences and, naturally, a glass of whiskey.
