Jake’s Tasting Notes: Frey Ranch Single Barrel Rye Whiskey
Color: Dark Amber
Nose: Citrus and Vanilla Bomb
Palate: This rye whiskey takes you on a journey as it starts with piney and cracked pepper notes of some ryes and subtly shifts to the orange zest and vanilla from the nose
Finish: For as proofy as the whiskey is the finish is just enough.
Closing Thoughts
If you haven’t had the single barrels you are just missing out. Colby, Ashley and the team continue to produce phenomenal whiskies in Fallon, NV and this one is no different. If you are looking for a brand that is continuing to explode Frey Ranch is it, give them a try buy purchasing here.
