A Milestone Bottled-in-Bond Release from Texas Distillery.
Garrison Brothers Distillery has announced the release of its first-ever Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon, marking a significant milestone for the Texas-based producer. Distilled in Fall 2019 and aged for six years, the new release becomes the 10th bourbon in the Garrison Brothers portfolio. The 100-proof expression is made from Texas-grown grains and proofed with Hill Country rainwater, adhering to the strict requirements of the 1897 Bottled-in-Bond Act.
Texas Independence Day Release at the Distillery
The debut will take place on Saturday, February 28, 2026, in celebration of Texas Independence Day. A total of 2,000 bottles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the distillery in Hye, Texas, during the Bottled in Bond, A 100 Proof Texas Celebration event.
Built to Meet the Bottled-in-Bond Standard
As a Bottled-in-Bond whiskey, the bourbon was produced in a single distillation season, at one distillery, by one distiller, aged in federally bonded warehouses, and bottled at exactly 100 proof. The release reflects Garrison Brothers’ long-standing production approach, including on-site mash cooking, fermentation, pot distillation, and aging in Texas’ extreme climate.
“From day one, Garrison Brothers has cooked our own mash, fermented our own distillers beer, pot-distilled, and aged our bourbon right here in Hye, Texas. There’s no BS here. For six summers, this whiskey moved in and out of the wood, tightening its flavor and deepening its color. We proofed it down to 100 and put our name on it. This release marks a milestone for Texas distilling, Donnis Todd and our entire team,” said Dan Garrison, Founder of Garrison Brothers Distillery.
Flavor Profile Shaped by Hill Country Aging
Garrison Brothers Bottled in Bond is described as oaky and smoky, with aromas of tobacco, leather, and campfire. The palate features toasted oak, wood sugars, caramelized dark chocolate, and fruit notes, finishing with layers of toffee and roasted nuts. The bourbon is bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) and is positioned for both neat pours and classic cocktails.
“One run, one place, one team. Then we let Texas do what Texas does. Hot days. Cool nights. Oak inhaling and exhaling until the whiskey got bold, and layered, and honest. We were not chasing ‘bottled-in-bond.’ We were chasing the best bottled-in-bond bourbon ever made,” said Donnis Todd, Master Distiller, Garrison Brothers.
Pricing and Availability
The suggested retail price for Garrison Brothers Bottled in Bond is $99.99. Following the distillery release, the bourbon will be available via e-commerce and at select retailers, bars, and restaurants by the end of March 2026. Garrison Brothers Texas Straight Bourbon Whiskey is currently sold nationwide and in five international markets.
