If you have have followed Bourbon Lens for any time you know we are huge fans of Lost Lantern. We couldn’t be more excited for Nora and Adam today as they launch their Single Distillery Series at 1pm. We recently had the opportunity to have a sneak preview of the three new offerings: Gentle Giant, Desert Dessert, and Mega Mesquite that were created using Balcones and Whiskey Del Bac barrels. Thanks to Eric Kim and Amy Mironov for coordinating this special opportunity to help support the Lost Lantern team.

Jake’s Tasting Notes: Lost Lantern Gentle Giant
Nose: Grain forward, caramel, apple and cinnamon
Palate: Very peach forward, creamy mouth feel with hints of oak and spice.
Finish: Slight tinge of lingering fruit, very drying.
