Glenfiddich has unveiled two new limited-edition single malt Scotch whiskies in collaboration with the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team. The Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old and Glenfiddich 19-Year-Old will launch globally in September 2025 as part of the brands’ multi-year partnership. The release is designed to reflect the shared values of heritage, craftsmanship, and innovation that unite the two companies.
Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old: Sweetness and Balance
The Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old is created from a combination of American oak wine casks, new American barrels, and second-fill bourbon casks. According to the distillery, it carries rich notes of maple syrup and caramelised ginger, leading into a palate of fresh fruit salad and Chantilly cream. The whisky finishes with a smooth yet bold character.
Glenfiddich 19-Year-Old: Global Travel Retail Exclusive
The Glenfiddich 19-Year-Old will be available exclusively through Global Travel Retail. It is matured in a selection of American and European oak casks, with additional influence from Montilla wine casks. The whisky is described as vibrant and refined, with flavors of Seville oranges and warm, woody spices.
Tradition and Innovation in Partnership
Glenfiddich emphasized the role of Malt Master Brian Kinsman, who continues the distillery’s 137-year tradition of quality control. “At Glenfiddich, we’ve always strived to create exceptional whiskies that stand the test of time,” Kinsman said. “The Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old and 19-Year-Old are no exception. They are a testament to our dedication to craftsmanship, accuracy, and passion.” He added that the collaboration with Aston Martin Formula One™ Team reflects the shared pursuit of “the perfect balance of precision and intuition.”
Jefferson Slack, Managing Director at Aston Martin Formula One™ Team, noted: “In this next chapter, Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One™ Team come together to honour the first year of our partnership with limited-edition 16 and 19-Year-Old bottlings. A true symbol of craftmanship and performance, the exclusive product further cements the coming together of our two iconic brands.”
Claudia Falcone, Global Brand Director at Glenfiddich, added: “We are thrilled to unveil this limited-edition bottling in celebration of our partnership with Aston Martin Formula One™ Team. Through this collaboration we invite enthusiasts worldwide to engage with both brands in bold new ways and create memorable moments that reach far beyond the racetrack.”
