New Batch of Good Deeds Whiskey Supports Diversity in the Spirits Industry

Batch 2 is a collaboration between WhistlePig and Black Button Distillery with 100% of proceeds to benefit STEPUP Foundation, the diversity and inclusion initiative founded by the American Craft Spirits Association.

Good Deeds Spirits is set to release its highly anticipated Good Deeds Whiskey (Batch #2), a unique blend of WhistlePig Rye from Shoreham, VT, and Black Button Bourbon from Rochester, NY. Batch #2 will be available in a limited run of only 500 bottles. Sales of this batch will benefit the STEPUP Foundation, a diversity initiative of the American Craft Spirits Association, which seeks to increase inclusion in the drinks industry.

I feel a deep commitment to support this mission. It is vital that we continue to champion access and support in the craft spirits industry for underrepresented individuals. The overwhelming support for this project during challenging times for craft producers highlights the strong, collaborative spirit that defines the American craft spirits industry.
Sailor Guevara, Executive Director of Good Deeds

Founded in 2021, Good Deeds Spirits is committed to raising funds for important industry causes through collaborative spirit releases. The inaugural release, Batch #1, raised over $20,000 for the STEPUP Foundation. Batch #2 looks to follow in its footsteps. The production of the whiskey involved significant contributions from industry partners such as Phoenix Packaging, Niagara Label Co., and Big Thirst, Inc., who donated resources to help bring this project to life.

Good Deeds mirrors the energy and passion behind the STEPUP Foundation, a diverse blend of skills and talents married together to create an unparalleled product. This incredible group of distillers has already made a significant contribution to STEPUP through their inaugural release, and we are honored to collaborate on Batch 2.
Margie A.S. Lehrman, CEO, ACSA and President, STEUPUP Foundation

Good Deeds Whiskey Batch #2 is $89.99 for a 750 ml bottle and is bottled at 90 proof (45% ABV). Tasting notes include rich aromas of caramel, vanilla bean, and maple, complemented by flavors of brown sugar, cinnamon, and baked apples. The whiskey will be available for purchase exclusively at GoodDeedsSpirits.com, with a pre-sale starting on December 2, 2024, and a public release on December 13, 2024. As with all Good Deeds Spirits products, 100% of the profits will support the STEPUP Foundation.
